SPRAY TAN TIPS
BEFORE YOUR SESSION

Do not shave within the 24 hours before coming in.

Exfoliate your skin in the shower by using a body scrub (helps remove dead skin cells).

If you have dry skin, lotion at least 2 hours before your session.

Remove your makeup or don't wear makeup to your session.

Avoid perfumes and deodorant to the session, these can lead to blotchiness in your tan.
Advanced tip: Apply petroleum jelly to your cuticles and nail beds to avoid color buildup in these areas.
DURING YOUR SESSION

Use protective eyewear.

Keep your mouth closed (we promise it doesn't taste as good as it will look).

Wear undergarments to protect the sensitive areas.

Avoid inhaling any of the products through the nose (you could even use plugs if need be).
Advanced tip: Use lip balm to protect your lips.
AFTER YOUR SESSION

Wear looser clothing to prevent lines and blotching.

Wear open shoes, so to not create blotching or off-coloring your feet!

Avoid getting your skin wet (even from things like sweating at the gym, bath time for the kids, or washing dishes) until after your first shower.

Waiting 12-16 hours for our shower can help the tan set in and give you the longest lasting results.
Advanced tip: Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate your skin. Hydrated skin will maintain your tan the best!

How long does a spray tan last?
Your spray tan should last around 5-10 days, with the average being around 7 days.
Can I spray tan while pregnant?
While there is no hard evidence showing the affects of spray tanning on pregnant women, it's always a good idea to consult with a doctor for safety.
What should I wear to my spray tan?
Wear loose, dark-colored clothing like joggers, sweatshirts, or long-sleeve tees. This will help prevent your fresh spray tan from getting rubbed off before it has a chance to set.
Do I have to make an appointment to get a spray tan?
Sunkiss'd Tan and Wellness does not require you to make an appointment for a spray tan.
How soon before my vacation or event should I get a spray tan?
We recommend getting a spray tan 24-48 hours before your event or leaving for vacation. This allows your tan time to fully develop.
Should I do a spray tan session before or after I workout?
You should prevent from getting wet following your spray tan session, which includes sweating, too allow your tan to develop. It's highly recommended that you spray tan AFTER a workout.
Can I add a WellFit spray to my spray tan and get them at the same time?
Yes you can! Just ask for a WellFit spray upgrade when purchasing your spray tan.
